Lasik Eyes, Solution for nearsightedness and astigmatism to see the world without glasses

The eyes have a very important function for the human body, with eyes the human being able to see the universe, and with eyes the human being able to work, study, and so on. The eyes need vitamins and nutrients so they can work well, just like a machine needs fuel because it has to work perfectly.

Eyes that are deficient in vitamins, and nutrients or have abnormalities make their owners feel deficient. Eye deficiencies or eye abnormalities such as farsightedness, nearsightedness, crossed eyes, astigmatism, or color blindness.

These things can be overcome by using convex or concave glasses according to the type of eye defect experienced. However, there is a more effective method to make you see the world without using glasses, this method is called the Lasik Eye method.

During Lasik eye surgery, the doctor will perform surgery on your eyes using a laser beam. You don't need to worry because the doctor is experienced in eye surgery activities and everything can be done safely by applicable health standards.

As told by my brother who works as an ASN on Batam Island, he suffers from nearsightedness, so he needs glasses to help him see objects or writing that are far in front of him. After working and having enough money, he chose to have Lasik eye surgery at an eye treatment center in Jakarta.

After having LASIK eye surgery, Alhamdulillah, his eyes could see perfectly, but after the operation, he had to continue using bandages for a few days, after that the bandages could be removed and his eyes could see normally without using glasses.

If you are interested in healing myopia. You can use Lasik eye surgery, by understanding the following things.

What is Lasik Eye Surgery?

As written on the klinikmatanusantara.com website, LASIK is an abbreviation of Laser-Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis, meaning LASIK is a medical procedure that produces better vision for patients. Lasik uses a laser to reshape the cornea or the clear, round part at the front of the eye. This procedure can be performed on patients who experience the following refractive errors:

  1. Refractive errors
  2. Nearsightedness/Myopia
  3. Farsightedness/plus eyes (hypermetropia)
  4. Cylindrical eyes (astigmatism).

What are the procedures for LASIK surgery?

According to the Alodokter website, LASIK surgery generally lasts 30 minutes. The procedure for Lasik eye surgery is carried out in the following stages:

  1. The patient will be asked to lie down on a special chair.
  2. The patient may be given medication to be calmer during the procedure.
  3. The patient will be given local anesthesia in the form of eye drops so that he does not feel pain during surgery.
  4. The doctor will use a tool to hold the lids open after the anesthesia is administered.
  5. The doctor will ask the patient to focus on looking at one point of light during the operation.
  6. The doctor will place a suction ring on the eye.
  7. The doctor will start making small incisions on the surface of the eyeball using a small scalpel or laser.

From this incision, a fold will then be formed on the cornea. This surgery aims to change the shape of the cornea to be repaired according to needs.

Once finished, the cornea will be closed again and the fold will attach itself without requiring stitches.
