The four goals of the APEC organization are as follows:
- Increasing economic cooperation in the Asia Pacific region, especially in the fields of trade and investment
- Facing economic globalization so as not to become a victim
- Strengthening oneself to face world economic competition that is closed
- Achieve the Bogor goals, namely the creation of trade and investment liberalization in the Asia Pacific region before 2010 for developed country economies and before 2020 for developing country economies
